Bradley A. Perry
Brad is a senior studying for his bachelors degree in mechanical engineering at the University of Miami. Brad has been able to balance a full-time academic schedule of 18 credits, a part-time job, family, friends and extracurricular activities while maintaining a 3.68 GPA. Brad's desire to become a mechanical engineer began as a child when he experimented with Legos to repair broken household items. Brad recognizes the need to conserve energy and his aspirations include becoming "one of the names in the history books to be credited as a contributor to improved technology which saves the world's luminous energy crisis." Working towards this goal, Brad was accepted into the Department of Homeland Security's Co-Op working with over 15 engineers and scientists at the Los Alamos National Laboratory in New Mexico.
Michael J. Denk
Michael is an engineering student at Marquette University studying for a bachelors degree in mechanical engineering with a concentration in thermo-fluid science. Michael has maintained a 4.0 GPA throughout his academic career. Michael's interest in thermo-fluid science began to develop when he took his first thermodynamics course where he learned the concept of energy conservation. His desire is to not only improve the current thermo-fluid science methods and devices, but also to develop new ways of harnessing sources of useable energy.
